Black Stars Kicked Out Of Hotel

Ghana national football team, Black Stars, have been kicked out of
their hotel as profiteering continues in the west African country ahead
of the start of the continental championship.

The hosts of this
years African nations cup had been booked to stay at the luxury Labadi
Beach Hotel, at reduced rate negotiated months ago.

But when the team returned home from their training camp in Abu Dhabi,
they found their booking from Wednesday had been canceled so that the
hotel could free up the rooms and make more money.

Some hotels in Accra are charging up to US$300 a night as they seek to
profit from the visitors arriving for the tournament. Rates are in some
case triple the normal prices charged.

Ghana have since moved to the Fiesta Hotel in Accra.

I know bro, I feel like the earth is passing by with all this opportunities home. I have to get it together by next year.

As for the games, I am getting GTV from Ghana web;It will be on my laptop,but that will be my best bet of seeing everything.

I will also check dish network for coverage.

I have been searching all over the net for coverage. Ghana web is having problems with conectivity. I can't see anything on that watch TV crap. I am messed-up on can 2008.

Don't know about them being kicked out of this Hotel, however The Black Stars were certainly not at a training camp in Abu Dhabi, they were in the Jebel Ali Hotel, Dubai and training on the training pitch behind the Shooting Range. I know because I saw them there in person.

Agogo was scythed down by Kalabane as he sprinted into the box to earn the Black Stars a penalty after he had been played in by Gyan. The Udinese striker shrugged off any nerves to slam the ball into the roof of the net, sending the home crowd into riotous celebration. Kalabane made amends with a headed equaliser for Guinea. Gyan had the best early chance, having been played in by Muntari on six minutes before shooting wide from 15 yards and then found himself with another opportunity within 20 seconds thanks to a poor goal-kick from Guinea goalkeeper Kemoko Camara. Quincey Owusu-Abeyie became a growing threat to Guinea, providing tricks and crosses from the left wing with Michael Essien and Muntari beginning to pull the strings. With the crowd behind the host and the players looking warmed into the game, Junior Agogo smashed a header against the post on 20 minutes to crank up the pressure on the Sylli Nationale when he was picked out by Owusu-Abeyie’s cross. But it was Essien who had the whole stadium on their feet again, when he hit the post again from a Laryea Kingston left-wing corner with Muntari firing a half-volley thunderbolt against the upright - Ghana's third close miss of the half. Guinea coach Robert Nouzaret changed to a more attacking formation and his side rallied by creating a number of openings. The pressure paid off when Oumar Kallabane towered above two Black Star defenders to thump home a header from a Pascal Feindouno corner. The initiative was now with Guinea, as Ghana once again looked under pressure.
