The Clintons are revered in NY. Hillary is the senator (and a successful one at that) of the state. Bill's presidential office is in the heart of Harlem, they leave in suburban Westerchester County, the daughter works for one of the biggest and most prestigious law firms on Park Ave.
In short, the Clintons are a strong establishment in New York.

Obama did make some major headway though. Very very respectable numbers.

Lets wait for Cali to come in but this thing looks like its going down to the very end at the congress. Great for Democracy, Great for America!
